Mustaine & Ellefson are back from their killing duties and want to wake up the DEAD! More confident, more structured, more biting, more nuclear - they rock their confident way into the flaming brain cells of post-Vietnam heavy metal music. From rock to metal to Thrash, Megadeth are headbanging until catchi-fucking-ness. Actually, there is no way back home and the dirty smell of Timeless Classic is all over the place. Screaming blues-y heavy Thrash on speedballs brought to a neck assaulting level of social realism. Ride the Lightning is excellent, this is masterful. If you ain't screaming 'Mustaine for President' until both your lungs pass out, then you probably never will. Too bad!
