 2011?
Continuing a Void's thread from last year, let us see what these twelve months have in store for us.
I am still looking forward to a number of releases that I had expected to see the light of day in 2010. These are...
Morbid Angel - I-something - finish it already!
Tenhi - Saivo - see above
Lamented Souls - ?? - last update is from September but at least music is being written
Thorns - ?? - I am not sure I really expect this to be completed
Also, we, Sepulchrum, should release our first album this year. Only vocals remain to be recorded.

Congrats!

You beat me to it Echon!
Well... VOID has already been released, & it's great. VIRUS is out shortly... other:
KRALLICE (nothing official yet though)
GORGUTS (they were supposedly 75% finished in August last year, so a 2011 release isn't unlikely)
DIAPSIQUIR (it seems - a lot of FB activity)
NEGATIVE PLANE (scheduled for 2010 I think, so sometime during the spring I hope)
ULVER's "Critical Geography" of course!
MORBID ANGEL - I wish!
my own stuff: new DERANGED will be released in April/May, and the second HAVOK album in the summer perhaps?
A lot of other stuff to be added I guess!

AVA INFERI (14 February) and ALUK TODOLO (or at least they have recorded something new). FLEURETY 7" I think. This'll be a great year it seems.

Whoops, I forgot about Ulver, Ava Inferi and Virus. I am now ashamed of myself.
Also:
Hexvessel - Dawnbearer
Belphegor will release their next album in a few days but although I suspect it will be as bad as their previous one, I will listen to it anyway hoping it might be as good as Goatreich - Fleshcult.

Ah yes of course, Hexvessel! That will be very interesting...
Some more self-centeredness: my first full length vinyl with my industrial/noise project will appear in some form.

Hi everyone
I didnt know about the new Negative plane!! Great news! Hexvessel is already ordered from Svart record!
I think 2011 will be vastly a great year musically with releases from Diskord (nor), the Konsortium, Strid (with Vicotnik on bass woow), Orcustus, Demoncy ("enthroned is the night", should be released soon), Stagnant waters, Alfa Obscura and the "I left the planet" project on Adversum records, new releases from Woburn house, Valborg and Island are sheduled on Zeigeister records, Svartsyn (sweden), Dornenreich....
Also the mighty Ruins of Beverast should release something end of this year.
Cheers from Belgium

Welcome sebschiav! Yeah, the stuff you mention is all interesting... what path Adversum is taking for example, as well as the new Zeitgeister releases. Both STAGNANT WATERS and hopefully SMOHALLA will release their albums.

What a pleasant surprise. I had no idea The Ruins of Beverast were going to release another album. If it turns out to be anywhere sort of near Rain Upon the Impure, I will be satisfied.

Morbid Angel - "I" don't think it's going to happen. Seriously, I think Trey thinks he's James Hetfield. Or Tom Scholz. Why not take ten years to do one album. It'll come out great, right? Uhhhhh.... d'oh!

James Hetfield? What about Axl Rose? (Not that I am trying to defend Metallica in any way)

On Morbid Angel: don't see why the I album wouldn't come out great - DHG returned to their favour after 9 years of silence, for example.
