This is coming from a very, very close friend of Joey's. I deeply regret to say that he passed away very early this morning. We will never forget what he has contributed to the world and miss him deeply. If anyone has pictures, music, etc. that they would like me to post I would be more than glad to. RIP Joey we love you so much.

Joey was a member of Blackdrone Inc. and Alien Syndrome 777, and the master of his own Joey Hopkins' Midget Factory

Joey is no longer with us.

I deeply regret to announce that my bandmate and friend Joey Hopkins aka Nihil passed away a few days ago. It has been a terrible discover for me, shocking. I was musically collaborating with him for about 2 years and he has been surely the most talented musician I worked with.
Now, it will be hard to finish the promo without his contribution, I will do my best to complete it but surely it will NEVER sound like with him on board, never.

RIP my friend, you giant of midgets.

dont forget to check his 2 demos on his myspace page. the 2007 one in my opinion is pure genius, the sickest material I heard in a long time. As well as all he did with me on Blackdrone inc and as777, he transformed all my material into gold.
It will be so hard for me to continue without him.

RIP my friend, I will never forget you.

That's really tragic. He was a big young talent with a promising future.

R.I.P. Joey!

I was doing an interview with him!!

What a shock!

I still have his answers (not many but very interesting ones), we will for sure prepare a special. This is so... out of this world.

I'm honestly sorry for all his family and close friends.

I think it will be worth reading for sure. It will be published this very Sunday. We invite every one of his friends to come by and read what he had to say about his art, which was totally mind-blowing. This is our way to pay him some well-deserved respect...

Just read the interview. Touching and painful if you think about his tragic end. A good news is that I've been informed that his best friend "Bigshot" has now his laptop, so I can use the amazing vocal lines he did for as777 for the debut promo, as a tribute to his greatness.

Yeah I was wondering who would pick up his laptop. And who would know where to find his files, etc. I hope people like Zweizz or Joey's friends can help you to finish as777 and Blackdrone Inc.! Keep us updated.
