Along with a Myspace address, most bands should also try to have a Soundclick page, or at least post some stuff at the Internet Archive or similar host - There are so many places to post our music now, it's overwhelming the trick is getting links to the music posted in a common spot that a lot of people visit (like THIS forum!!) The talent is out there, we just need a true spot to share is with others.

... speaking of which, I am working on some new music - hopefully I'll have a full album ready for download in early 2008.

yeahhhhh....
cmon people im dying to hear all this stuff..........

theres like a zillion places...you could just upload direct to host lke zhare..i mean a zipped album at a high bit rate takes a short while and is then available for a lotta ppl

plus myspace has this tinge of nu-core / commerciability to it.......rendering even the most awesome names to "just another my space band"..but thats an entirely spearte debate

the fact dude is that at the moment I don't want to let download the previews, cuz are only rough mixes and nothing final. That's why I dont permit the download from the myspace profile. I know that with some software you could easily download the streaming stuff (one it's called "replay media catcher"). Also I would like to try to get a label, so I prefer to not send mp3s except close friends..I'm not against leakings or stuff like that, it's just cause I dont have nothing final in my hands;)

About myspace being a commercial/trendy place, it always depends on how do you use it. In my opinion it's a great way to hear musical newcomers and new shit, and also a functional tool to promote your band.

Here´s a piece I did some months ago for my solo-project called SEELENSARG (which means "soulcoffin" in English) - kinda doom-death in the vein of SHAPE OF DESPAIR and WHILE HEAVEN WEPT. It´s still instrumental and not finished at all, but I will do the vocal tracks together with TRISTWOOD/INZEST - Vokillist Axumis soon (hopefully hehe).

Feel free to comment!

Download here:

DOOM OR BE DOOMED!

I listened to your's Faith song, and I found it pretty good; slow, malincolic as doom should be. Also good are the orchestral parts, which remainds me Officium Triste more than Shape Of Despair!!
I would like one day to hear the final song.

I also listened to your Tristwood "The Delphic Doctrine": that's a fucking great killer album, extremely powerfull and intense black-death industrial

Keep blasting the killer machine
