 Re: 2012!
While it may not be released this year, it is worth mentioning that Mysticum have signed with Peaceville and will soon start recording a new album, Planet Satan. http://www.peaceville.com/news/article/3060

New Yurei album (solo project by Bjeima from Alfa Obscura, last Virus, plus a lot of other cool bands) sounds very promising, to release sometime this year. More info on it sometime before that! Check it out: http://soundcloud.com/bjeima/yurei-nigh ... -reborn-in

 Re: 2012!
I think Lars of WHEN is playing drums on this one. Was announced a few years ago, but almost assumed it went down the same oblivious path as the remake of Nattens Madrigal... Will listen to the "Magic Hollow" track shortly.

 Re: 2012!
Oh, so it's finally happening. Cool. I don't know almost any original version of the songs, but anyway, I was interested in this.

 Re: 2012!
I did not know/forgot that it had been announced. I had also forgotten about the Nattens Madrigal remake. What did they want to do with it again?

 Re: 2012!
I don't think they're gonna do that Nattens remake anymore. They were supposedly doing it... when? Before A Quick Fix? The nearest we've got, I guess, is that fourth track on A Quick Fix of Melancholy.
And the covers album was first mentioned before Critical Geography was renamed to Wars of the Roses, if I remember right. I think we hadn't even heard the single.

 Re: 2012!
As I recall it from the old Jester board was that Nattens Madrigal would be turned into something like a string quartet, or something similar. Purely acoustic. But that's of course more than tne years ago those plans were announced, those plans probably went down the drain as the Silence EPs were recorded. Now how about that second trilogy which was supposed to start with the Blake album, but only became the Rimbaud song on Metamorphosis? So many plans they make up...

 Re: 2012!
Already waiting for the physical copy of it Don't want to spoil it by hearing misplaced snippets... Btw, am not too impressed by the Ulver song. Really feel like Garm's vocal style, which I don't enjoy too much these days, doesn't fit the psych rock genre. He's too cheesy, while psych was more in the raw. IMO.

 Re: 2012!
I just hope you're in for a lot of early Black Sabbath when you receive that copy - but that could be just speculation from the snippets.
I liked the Electric Prunes cover, although I didn't know the original back then. The new one sounded a lot like their song Island on their last album, so I don't know what to expect from this Childhood's End, really.
Oh, by the way, the new When album is out! It doesn't feature a lot of noises this time, just very hippie songs full of love, mostly. (It's nice!)
