Hi there,
I'm Wladimir Ohrelianov II, leader of Ohreland's world and of its Nomenklatura called Sebkha-Chott... And allt that since 10000 years, that's quite a time.
Well, what ever? I play bass and sing in that band, am a huge fan of Patton work, and of Trevor Dunn (with who I've been taking lessons) 's work, a huge fan of Zappa and Magma, and of some bands produced by The End Records. I also love hip hop and many other things like ethnic music (Balkan one particulary), old French song....
And I usually speak in French, so my English's not always on top! :p

Hi everybody,
My name is Tomás or Thomas, 'cause I'm half spanish and half french. I live in Valladolid, Spain.
I'm a die-hard fan of Bathory, Celtic Frost, Ulver and Sunn o))).
I love "tr00" Black metal as well as experimental stuff (from Burzum to Arcturus, Darkthrone or Ved Buens Ende).
But now I'm more into drone/sludge/noise: sunn o))), KTL, Nadja, Isis, Jesu, Orthodox, Pelican, The Ocean, etc...

I found this site while I was searching for some info on Ram-Zet and Unexpect. And I'm also a fan of Zappa

well this isn't my first post but I forgot to post in this thread. My name is Ben, I'm from the US. I'm into AGM, death metal, 20th century chamber music, some modern jazz, and avant garde stuff. I'm 19 and I'm studying at a university at the moment. I very badly play guitar, cello, keyboard, trombone, euphonium, and mandolin.

 WELCOME
welcome on and all, but you guys and gals make me feel soooo old (sigh)...im 28, happily married with a kid, but alas the boon/curse of metal has been with me since me childhood.......and it refuses to leave me...
actually im seriously wondering if there are any more oldies (25 +) here ...those who remember late 80's thrash and hardcore as well as the rise of death and black metal and industrial metal in the late 80's early 90's...........when a lot of bands set the foudation for AGM....cynic, atheist, death, ulver, anathema, arcturus, psychitc waltz, neurosis
so there , any old metalheads here...or should i just start my own forum (senile-metal.com)

indeed it does...starting a family was the best thing i ever did.......
it helped me get out of a self-destructive drug related cycle that had lasted almost a decade...during that time i made some of the best music ever..but also seriously destroyed my health and sanity..and now its awesoem to be sober and sane....and surpisingly my creativity and appreciation with regards to metal has only increased with age and wisdom

Faen! I tought I posted here
Wll my name is S and I am dislocated somewhere in middle europe...
I am particularly fond of ARTS (architecture, visual and audiable arts), languages, history and mithology....
As for music my first choises are AGM and BM: Arcturus, In The woods, Ulver,VBE, Smohalla, DHG, Flurety, (Samael) ; Emperor, Mayhem, Negura Bunget, Darkthrone, Deatspell Omega, Drudkh, Abigor, all kinds of obscure or underground semi forgotten bands such as Kvist....I allso like Doom, some death...
I get hypnotized by ambience and industriality of acts such as Letum, Desiderii Marginis, In Slaughter Natives, Dath in June, Deutsch Nepal, laibach, Arcana usw.
I enjoy travelling......
"But first and formost I am a child. This city is a stranger to me"

My real name is Josh but I am known by many as Jesus as I apparently have a striking resemblance to what he supposedly looked like.
I reside in New Zealand, where I have to order cd,s from miles away and wait up to 5 weeks for them to arrive.
I play bass, guitar and violin and have just started a new band, but finding musicians with similar musical tastes is annoyingly hard.
I love many forms of music and sound in general including symphonic BM (I tend to like less traditional BM the most) , avant garde metal and other avant garde genres and also classical music.
Favourite bands at the moment include:
Spektr
Ulver
Sunn o)))
Korovakill
Angizia
I also enjoy photography and film making...
