Exactly, and I deny nynorsk since it sounds pretty damn stupid to me - too much Danish! Damn Bergen-bor....

Tentakel P's review of Keep of Kalessin was dead-on accurate, and immensely funny. Comparing Obsidian C to Joey DeMaio was great.
I am a huge fan of these guys, and I wondered if "Armada" was merely a lucky fluke. Nope. And the guitar tone is really unique, "wooly" even. Fuzzy, but tight.
Great album. Great review.

Thanks, Dim X!
I always wanted to make fun of MANOWAR... This "we are the loudest/greatest/heaviest/meanest/mightiest/-estest" and the music is just cheesy and tame... Nothing compared to real musical power like "Kolossus". So there you go.
And now stone me to death, I said "Jehova"

Haha, I dreamt last night that I was jumping in as session live bassist in Manowar, don't ask me why. I couldn't play the songs, I had no pick, and only a small 30W combo to play through. That was just weird.
(btw, I do like Manowar, for the sake of confusion. They're great.)

Haha, nah... but how does that explain my dreaming about dining at fancy resturants with the singer from Tiamat, and partying with The New Cryptospy who appeared like a mix of Arcturus and Evanescence? I gotta quit the opium, that's for sure...
nevermind! I'm just hi-jacking the thread because I'm bored.

I dreamt I was strolling through a fleamarket and drinking coffee afterwards with David Bowie. He is really a nice guy if you get to know him, haha... Wasn´t there an avantgarde-dream thread?
By the way, I actually celebrated christmas with Johan Edlund once for real Maybe 2000 or 2001, I´m not sure anymore. He lived in Hamburg for quite some time.

Funny how all these demonic, evil guys still celebrate Christmas. Betcha anythng Glen Benton has a Christmas tree and twinkly lights decorating his double-wide trailer-home in December. And I can just see Gaahl of Gorgoroth hanging the mistletoe and red, fluffy stockings on the mantle waiting with the children for Satan, uh, I mean Santa to come down the chimney.

When I meant "celebrating christmas" I actually meant "going to a bar and get drunk"...
...but I DO celebrate christmas, because its a nice get together with the family. We mostly play board games and... get drunk. When we celebrate christmas in Poland with the family of my wife, there is always eating and celebrating the whole day while... getting drunk *cough*
Not that I praise the spirit of christianity. The very first thing I do on christmas eve for years now is banging my head to VADER´s "Ultimate Incantation". Hail Satan.

In two words: Manowar sucks.
