if you just turn down the bass and replace the vox, any Nike album is pretty close to bm....
btw, just heard natchmystium for the first time (assasins)...very nice..kinda hawkwindish bn vibe going without refrencing isa

A FOREST OF STARS

"Victorian Occult Psychedelic Black Metal. Apparently..." they say. Very esoteric and strange. Wonderful band. No promos available, too bad.

I also just heard the new Nactmystium - very Pink Floyd, too. I like this kind of stuff - not just another Darkthrone or Xasthur clone. I like bands that take chances, but not just trying to be weirder than the last weird band. They actually play music. I was also just as surprised by Shining's last album for the same reasons. Music. Not just random tremolo guitars over blast-beats that sound like a car's turn signal.

All the members of this band are also involved in a black metal project called Verdunkeln, more depressive and progressive black metal (imagine a black metal Katatonia??)

Spektr.
From wiki:
Spektr is an experimental black metal duo formed in 2000, in Paris, France. They are currently signed to Candlelight Records and have released two full-length albums to date. The bands sound is a mix of raw black metal à la Darkthrone with elements of industrial and dark ambient, which has drawn comparisons to the more recent works of fellow countrymen Blut Aus Nord.
Their work has drawn very wide attention and acclaim, with their first being dubbed 'the weirdest black metal album ever' by Aquarius Records in San Francisco[1], and their second being acclaimed as "absolutely essential, unique and memorable" and "an album with a solid artistic value".[2]
Very little is known about the members of this group, other than that they are also involved with the black metal groups Battlehorns and Haemoth.

I was pretty disappointed in Spektr's Mescalyne EP, I was promised something on par with DHG, Thorns and BAN, but it didn't really get close. Maybe I should check out the albums rather?

final chapter: it means check out WEAKLING! veeeery long and epic songs, often reaching 20 minutes, but still very dark & un-symphonic. personnel from Asunder and The Gault among others. precursor to fellows like Leviathan & Xasthur. great all in all.

as I can remember the albums are tons times better. One of the two in particular has a lot of Thorns feeling on it. "Near death experience" as I can remember

Thank's aVoid...
I'll check them out...I allready know Asunder and The Gault only by name, but I didn't know the existence of Weakling.
Anyone about the last Lord Belial's album "The Black course"?
Very nice in my opinion, better than the albums before
